Hello and welcome
Thank you for visiting my website!
I have two loves in my life (1) my family, consisting of three sons, their respective wives and partners, my adorable grandchildren, and (2) painting.
Having retired from full-time employment as a civil servant I have time on my hands to spend with my grandchildren and painting. My grandchildren I am keeping all to myself, but this website is an opportunity to share with you my paintings.

Have you an idea for a commission?
I’m always open to ideas for commissions, the website will give you a good idea of what subjects I’m comfortable with but if there’s something that you have in mind that you don’t see, please drop me a line via the contact form.
About Me
Since retiring, I worked on a voluntary basis then became employed part-time with a local charity called Fairway Fife. Part of my role there was to help out at craft evenings. I have recently added a new page to my web-site to show examples I used during these sessions. There is a link to the charity’s web-site on this page under sites Moira likes, please have a look.
I have dabbled in selling hand painted cards over the last few years to friends and family, craft fairs and local farm shops. I am now hoping to expand this activity soon by selling my cards on Folksy.
We were absolutely delighted with the portrait Moira did of our son, it is a treasured piece! we cannot recommend her enough!
